Heintges served as exterior curtain wall and glazing consultant to the museum, providing technical expertise in a variety of areas including existing condition surveys, water intrusion investigations, reglazing, and new construction. During the renovation of the Robert Lehman Wing, Heintges worked with KRJDA to develop replacement glazing details for skylights and vertical windows as well as strategies for the waterproofing of perimeter gutter systems. The original monolithic glass was replaced with high-performance insulating glass and thermally broken glazing adapters for improved thermal performance and condensation resistance.

Heintges served as exterior glazing and waterproofing consultant to the architect and owner for all phases of remediation, redesign, and installation.
