The new inpatient hospital at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center centers an innovative approach to healing, discovering and teaching. The building will forward the University’s long-term planning vision and facilitate interventional procedures and inpatient care, while providing families with high-tech spaces for healing, respite and gathering. The 1.9 million square-foot building will be the largest single facilities project ever undertaken by OSU. With over 800 private patient rooms and abundant light-filled spaces, the project’s seamless integration of environment, people, services, and culture will significantly enhance the patient experience.
Heintges provided building envelope and roofing & waterproofing consulting services during design and construction phases.
