The new Caroline Kimmel Paviliion for Arts and Communication combines two schools into a single state-of-the-art facility, creating a hub for media and performance at Temple University. The 200,000 square foot building includes classrooms, faculty offices, screening rooms, studios, post-production spaces, as well as multiple theater and performance spaces. The consolidation of two creative programs, once dispersed across multiple campus buildings, fosters new opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration and serve as a community hub for activity, education and entertainment.
The performance and entertainment venues within the Caroline Kimmel Pavilion includes a 375-seat proscenium, 180-seat cinema, 140-seat black box theater, and 63-seat screening room for students to showcase their projects.
