The expansion and renovation of Tiffany & Co.'s New York Flagship store involves a new glass-clad, 3-story addition atop the existing 72-year-old building, as well as the replacement of the building's historic windows. An undulating facade of slumped IGU’s encloses the new addition, appearing as a semi-transparent and flexible curtain of wave fold drapes. The IGU’s, many as tall as 5.2 meters, consist of slumped glass outer lites and flat glass inner lites, which are glazed onto steel-reinforced aluminum curtain wall frames.
