David Bott, PE, SE, AIA, joined Heintges in 2006, and holds bachelors’ degrees in civil engineering and architecture from Carnegie Mellon University, and a master’s degree in civil engineering from Columbia University. With his architectural background and extensive experience in the structural analysis of custom-designed building enclosures, Mr. Bott details such systems to resist the demanding load requirements of hurricane winds, seismic movements, and dynamic blasts, while seamlessly integrating design intent with engineering. Mr. Bott has taught building systems integration in Columbia University’s GSAPP and sits on the ASCE 7-28 Wind Loads Subcommittee.
